Who read Sense And Sensibility help me please: Marianne devoutly believes in the notion of love

Initially, Marianne devoutly believes in the notion of love at first sight and does not believe in “second attachments,” or the possibility of falling in love more than once in one’s life. How are second attachments perceived in the novel? What do you think Austen is saying about people’s ability to “start over”?
