These challenges today have occurred due to staff satisfaction being low and individual performance, the manager has found it hard to boost the confidence of employees that work for them after they had to explain pay changes. Employers face the challenge of motivating their employees as the economic climate kicks in, which has had an effect on the staff and the conversations between managers and their stuff in regards to no increase or a pay cut. Hersey and Blanchard, 1996 stated that there had been one style that has universally successful and that successful leaders have the ability and can adapt their individual behavior to meet their followers need to fit any given situation.
The organization needs to be able to diagnose organizational demands as well as adapt one’s leadership to conform and fit current issues that business have, in order for managers to motivate their employees, the staff needs to feel comfortable, a given a boost with their confidence in order to get things done. Employers need to allow workers to believe in effort improvement, which would lead to improved performance.
In order for management to motivate their stuff they need to role models, indirect motivation is always achieved if you send the message to stuff properly by setting good examples, there are a different type of methods used that can affect the stuff in many cases this could be the body language and the attitude of managers.
