Communication is very important in health and social care. By taking time to find out about how to communicate with someone, you could find ways to understand others and be understood. You could make someone a lot happier especially if that person finds it hard to communicate. Some barriers are making it hard for these people to communicate:
Language
cultural diversity
gender differences
status differences
physical separation.
These barriers to communication are specific items that can distort or prevent communication within an organization. A barrier in communication can stop good communication taking place. Another barrier is a physical barrier someone might be visually impaired, and they might not be able to see and they might need help to move around and might need help to pick things up. They will be able to see facial expressions or even body language, etc.
