The web server is comprised of a network of Linux (RHEL) servers in required locations and exists to serve the public-facing website and host all of the static resources which are distributed to the client upon loading the web pages. The static files include, but are not limited to; images, markup templates, assets, fonts, CSS and additional scripts and are stored in a web-facing directory. The site and files are hosted using Apache, and the relevant directories are exposed via custom configuration within the Apache installation.
