What is the main controversy over social constructionism?
Social constructionism may be defined as a perspective which believes that a great deal of human life exists as due to social and interpersonal influences. However, this leads to a major criticism of social construction. That, if everything is a social construction, then social constructionism is also a social construct and there is no reason to believe in it, rather than any other taken-for-granted assumption.
