I think from the 19th century to 2018, many things have changed. I think from the 19th century to 2018, many things have changed. Back in late nineteenth century, people were concern about craftsmanship, working rights etc. I think these concerns have been improved as over the years people are changing and the laws are changing. What have changed was women now can go out and work, they don’t have to be traditional anymore such as staying at home and have less working wages etc. right now we all have working rights, and at that time most goods were made by hand, and very many craftsmen worked on their own with a labourer and an apprentice. By the late 19th century factories were common, and most of the goods were made by machine. Today, we use a lot of machines to make goods and handmade goods are rare and expansive. However, I think there are many creative artists and people look up to Morris who has inspired them to make a change. We learn to use arts in the traditional way which back then I think they mainly use machines.
I think the movement creatively and socially is not relevant today from back then. However, I am not sure. The reason for this is because we now have technology which made the quality of factories improved more and some artist crafts things traditional way but nowadays we rely on technology.
