Religion is a system of beliefs and practices that define the relationship between holiness and the divine realm, and a given society, group or individual. This is a social phenomenon marked out on a global scale. In different regions of the world, people of different races profess different religious systems. So there is no homogeneity in this phenomenon. A characteristic and common for all is faith in a higher being, spirit, divine being, directing this world, destiny and human life, fate, happiness. Between these poles, there is permanent antagonism that is the cause of internal tensions and conflicts experienced by individuals. For a person to enter the social sphere, they must overcome their animal nature. This is possible because of the existence of a religion that serves as a bridge connecting these two separate worlds. Because of religion, people are aware of the existence of sanctity, and the feeling that it is something stronger than the individual, which requires self-denial, allows to overcome sensuality and egoism. This process leads to the realization that the inner tear that they feel also applies to other people. Religion, therefore, creates a social human being that recognizes the existence of the social soul in addition to the individual body.
