As for the three main topics, the first one, globalisation & multiculturalism, which I can see as a smart act making it at the very beginning of the program in order to start getting the students engaged with one another and dissolve any barriers that can exist between the three different cultures. Most of the students were aware of the importance of globalisation, but applying its positives and challenges on the real world was the most important thing that this program has added which will help us shape our new world in the right direction. I’ve learned the importance of keeping my identity but at the same time tolerate and accept others regardless of their ethnic, religious or cultural differences. Concerning the second topic which was leadership and management, besides the way it was delivered to us through discussions from few of the world’s greatest leaders and various workshops, one never thought of the differences between the two terminologies and the balance any entity will achieve if it acquired both managers and leaders cause each one has separate responsibilities that ensure its continues success. I understood the power of networks and actually was able to improve it because of the contacts this program provided us with, as well as the seeing women leaders who inspired us to fulfil our dreams and cross all the barriers to becoming ones. As for the third topic, civilizational dialogue & ethics, I never thought of its importance maybe because its different from the field I’m studying in however, this program allowed me to go deeper and understand the world order and the catastrophes that can occur when any powerful country starts to dominate the world without considering the economic, political and social consequences on the welfare of the global economy.
