This week was different, beneficial and interesting; it linked in a very smart mean the civilizational dialogue with ethics in Christianity and the Qur’an which helped in the promotion of the dialogue. I’ve graduated from a Christian school so I am aware of the Christians’ traditions and beliefs however, the ‘Christian ethics’ lecture opened a different way of understanding how they view other religions, especially Islam, and strengthened on my understanding of how tolerant and moral Christians are which was very interesting and necessary for my social life. Moreover, adding to my interests for this week, the visit for Dundee & Angus college and the Scottish dance session allowed us to be more engaged with the Scottish culture and encouraged us to explore the UK in general and Scotland in particular. The travel and tourism lecture allowed us to compare between one of the most prestigious Arab countries, the UAE, and Scotland from an economic, political and social perspective which helps in accepting the differences between them and actually using them for further development and progress in the Arab world.
